Firefighters from the Cologne Volunteer Fire Company took part in specialized training this week on the F-500 Encapsulator Agent and its role in fireground operations.
F-500 is an advanced firefighting agent designed to encapsulate fuel vapors, rapidly cool superheated materials, and suppress flames more effectively than water alone. It has proven especially valuable in responding to flammable liquid fires, lithium-ion battery incidents, and hazardous materials emergencies.
During the training, members practiced how and when to deploy F-500, gaining hands-on experience to ensure safe and effective use in real emergencies.
