Leonia Fire Department Responds to Route 95 Car Fire While Assisting Fort Lee Blaze

Earlier this evening, Leonia Fire Department Company No. 1, together with Leonia Police, assisted the New Jersey State Police at the scene of a car fire on Route 95. At the same time, additional members of the Leonia Volunteer Fire Department were providing mutual aid to the Fort Lee Fire Department at a structure fire on Bergen Boulevard.
The day also included a solemn tribute, as LFD joined in honoring a fallen NYPD brother. It was an exceptionally busy day for the department, and their dedication and professionalism were evident throughout every response.
