COLONIA, N.J. (Tuesday, July 15, 2025) — Heavy flooding from a storm left several Colonia roadways barricaded Tuesday as firefighters responded to dozens of emergency calls, officials said.
The Colonia Volunteer Fire Department said it handled 27 calls for service during the storm and continues to assist with storm-related incidents.
Roads will reopen once water levels recede to safe levels, according to the department. No injuries were reported.
