ALLENDALE, N.J. (Wednesday, July 23, 2025) — Firefighters from Allendale and Saddle River trained together Wednesday evening in a joint mutual aid drill on an acquired structure in the borough, officials said.

Crews practiced ventilation, search operations, ladder and aerial placement, and primary search tactics while running through multiple training scenarios.

“All of these drills strengthen coordination with our mutual aid partners,” the Allendale Fire Department said in a statement.

The departments plan to continue joint training to prepare for real-world emergencies.
