Monroe Township crews quickly control reported fire

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025) — Firefighters in Monroe Township brought a reported fire under control Sunday afternoon with help from multiple township companies, officials said.
Responding units included Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 – Station 51, Monroe Township Fire District No. 2, Monroe Township EMS and Monroe Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 3170.
The fire was quickly contained, and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
