WEST WINDSOR, N.J. (Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025) — Two vehicles caught fire Friday afternoon after a crash on Old Trenton Road, prompting a multi-company firefighting response, officials said.
East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1’s Engine 42 was returning from a fire alarm in Hightstown when it was dispatched at 2:21 p.m. to assist Station 43.
Firefighters arrived to find both vehicles from a two-car crash on fire. Crews from Engine 42, Engine 43 and Rescue 42 extinguished the flames, while Station 42 Fire Police managed traffic control.
No injuries were immediately reported. The crash remains under investigation.
