OLD BRIDGE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Tuesday, July 8, 2025) — A storage garage at Kelemen Farms was destroyed Tuesday evening after firefighters responded to a township-wide alarm for a reported structure fire, officials said.

Assistant Chief 850 arrived to find the one-story garage fully involved. Engines 803 and 707 advanced two hand lines for fire attack, while Squad 806 and Brookview Engine 903 established a water supply to support suppression efforts.

Due to hazardous materials inside the structure, the Middlesex County Firefighters Association/IAFF Local 3451 was called in for air monitoring.

Mutual aid companies from Milltown and South River fire departments covered the district during the incident. The Milltown Rescue Squad provided rehab and refreshments for firefighters, while Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Department and Brookview Volunteer Fire Company assisted on scene.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
