NEW WINDSOR, NY – Vails Gate FD responded to a fully involved vehicle fire on August 22nd on State Route 747. The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival. Firefighters used hand lines to extinguish the fire. New Windsor Police were on scene and blocked off State Route 747. Town of Cornwall EMS also responded; the driver refused medical treatment. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The New Windsor Fire Inspector was also on scene.
