Commack Crews Respond to Lefferts Avenue House Fire

Commack, N.Y. — August 5 — When firefighters arrived on Lefferts Avenue in Commack on Wednesday nite in response to a reported house fire, they discovered that the fire had already been partially put out.
According to reports of the incident, the Commack Fire Department was the first fire department to react. In order to ensure that the fire had not spread to other parts of the house, firefighters swiftly inspected the house.
According to the agency, crews were able to put an end to the residual fire conditions and ensure there was no further extension. Although the house was severely damaged, firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading, according to News 12.
After putting out the remaining fire, firefighters conducted checks to ensure the incident stayed contained to the reported area. No injuries or additional responding fire departments were identified in the sources reviewed. The cause of the fire was also not reported.
