Phelps house fire

PHELPS, NY - On Saturday, August 16, at 7:24 p.m., firefighters from Phelps, Clifton Springs and Oaks Corners, along with Phelps Ambulance responded to a house fire at 42 William Street in the village of Phelps.


Units arrived on scene and reported flames from the eaves.


The blaze was brought quickly under control and there were no injuries reported.


Officials from the Ontario County Office of Emergency Management were investigating the cause.


Geneva and Port Gibson Fire Departments were placed on standby during the incident.
