Shirley N.Y.- On Friday August 16^th, 2024, at about 6:40PM the Brookhaven FD and Shirley Ambulance were activated to respond to reports of a motor vehicle crash in the area of William Floyd Parkway and Dawn Dr. The Suffolk County Police 7^th PCT was also dispatched to the scene as well to investigate.

Brookhaven Fire Department Sent Rescue Trucks 5-3-3 and 5-3-4 as well as fire police 5-3-19 to the scene. On arrival firefighters investigated and found no vehicles at the scene. After consulting with people at the scene and police and dispatch officials it was determined that the incident was about 20-30 Minutes old, and the vehicles had left the scene most likely after exchanging information. The Ambulances and Fire trucks took up from the scene within about 15 minutes of the dispatch of the call to them and the incident was left to SCPD to sort out.
