New Windsor and Vails Gate FD attended New Windsor Community Day on Saturday August 19th at Kristy Babcock Park on Mount Airy

Road. They both set up booths and had plastic fire helmets for the children and information for the adults. Children were helped inside the engines 

that were on hand and were told about fire safety. Firefighters gave up their time to educate the adults and children. Both Fire Departments had 

applications for any people that might wanted to join.
