Hackensack, NJ - Members of the 1st Platoon responded to a vehicle fire that had ignited inside an attached garage on McKinley Street. Upon arrival, crews encountered active fire conditions involving the vehicle with potential for extension into the adjoining residential structure.

Firefighters initiated an aggressive interior attack, rapidly knocking down the main body of fire while simultaneously checking for extension into the garage walls and living space above. Coordinated ventilation and overhaul operations ensured that hidden fire was identified and extinguished.

Due to the quick and effective actions of responding crews, the fire was contained to the area of origin, preventing significant spread into the residence and limiting overall property damage.
