Firefighters Responded to Sipples Hill Accident

East Haddam, CT. — August 12 — Near the town transfer station, at the intersection of Sipples Hill and Mott Lane, the East Haddam Fire Department was called to a reported car accident. Firefighters were sent to secure the area, evaluate the situation, and help any occupants. While the incident was being looked into, crews worked in the region.


In East Haddam, the department frequently responds to emergency calls and auto accidents. 440 Town Street was the address of the department's main station. Information about injuries, the number of vehicles involved, and the accident's cause was not immediately available. Once the scene was secured, the response came to an end.
