At 8 am on Sunday 8/14/2022 the Norwich and East Great Plain Fire Departments provided coverage for Mohegan Tribal members. The members were celebrating their Mohegan culture crossing the Thames River like their ancestors did. Their journey Sunday, started in the Norwich Harbor and ended at Fort Shantok.
