Waimea Fire, Police and Rescue personnel responded to a SUV accident in which the vehicle went off the road and flipped onto its roof in a grassy field.

The young male involved in the crash was loaded onto a stretcher of an awaiting nearby ambulance. A helicopter was also on standby at the crash site.
