King Ferry, NY - The King Ferry Fire Department responded to a marine assistance call on Cayuga Lake following reports of a disabled vessel in the vicinity of Clearview Road.

Two members operating personal boats located the distressed vessel mid-lake and confirmed that the occupants were safe and uninjured. No medical attention was required.

A tow line was established, and the vessel was safely escorted to a nearby marina. The occupants were able to arrange transportation back to their vehicle after reaching shore. Aurora Marine 1 also assisted on scene before returning to service.
