NEWBURGH, NY - Newburgh FD responded to a multi-vehicle MVA with one vehicle on fire at 460 Broadway on August 16th. Firefighters used hand lines to extinguish the fire and checked out the other vehicles involved. City of Newburgh Police blocked Broadway at West Street and Fullerton Ave. during the incident. Firefighters removed the battery from the vehicle that caught fire. Empress EMS checked out the subject involved in the accident. The City of Newburgh Police Dept. is investigating the cause.
