At 1315 hours on August 15, 2026, the Camden County Fire Alarm Room dispatched the Cherry Hill Fire Department to 404 Rt 70E for the report of a vehicle that crashed into a restaurant at that address. The vehicle was driven into the restaurant, with patrons inside, following a possible medical emergency. The initial report indicated that the driver may be trapped in the vehicle. The driver was not trapped and was removed from the vehicle and transport to the hospital with BLS and ALS on board. The CHFD remained on scene until the vehicle was removed from the building and it was confirmed that no additional fire department services were needed.
