FOSTER, R.I., Aug. 4, 2025 – Fire crews quickly contained a Rhode Island house fire Monday morning after smoke was reported from a log cabin on Foster Centre Road.

At 10:55 a.m., Tanker 61 responded to mutual aid at the Foster house fire, joining Foster Fire Department units already on scene. First-arriving crews reported a Code Red, with smoke visible from the single-storey home. The fire was found in the cellar and extinguished before it could spread further.

Firefighters from Tanker 61 assisted with forcible entry, overhaul, and primary searches. Five members operated on scene for about an hour. No injuries were reported.
