Deposit, NY - Deposit Fire Department crews responded to a residence on Big Hollow Road in the Town of Sanford after a fire broke out while demolition work was underway at the property. The residence had previously sustained fire damage.

Firefighters quickly initiated suppression operations and were able to knock down the fire within approximately 5–10 minutes, limiting the spread and preventing further damage to the property.

Responding apparatus included Squad 22-1, Pumper-Tanker 22, Engine 22, Midi-Pumper 22, and Eastern Broome Ambulance 8422.
