Coordinated Response Supports Air Medical Transport After ATV Accident

Deposit, NY - The Deposit Fire Department responded with Eastern Broome Emergency Services to an ATV accident in the Town of Sanford that left the operator injured and requiring air medical transport.


Crews operated at the accident scene while additional personnel established a landing zone at the Deposit Central School District’s primary athletic field for a medical helicopter. The injured patient was transported by LifeNet of New York for further medical treatment.


Responding resources included Midi-Pumper 22, Rescue 22, Squad 22-1, and Ambulance 8422. The coordinated efforts of fire, EMS, and air medical personnel supported the safe and efficient transfer of the patient for advanced care.
