Menands, NY - The Menands Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with reported entrapment in the area of First Avenue and Lincoln Avenue within the Schuyler Heights Fire District. Upon arrival, crews located a vehicle on its side spanning a gully, with two occupants trapped inside.

Firefighters stabilized the vehicle under difficult conditions before gaining access to the occupants and performing a coordinated extrication. Both individuals were safely removed and transferred to EMS for further evaluation and transport.

The incident was brought to a successful conclusion through careful operations and effective teamwork in a complex rescue environment.
