Montvale, NJ - The Montvale Volunteer Fire Department responded to a commercial building for a worker who had fallen from one roof onto an adjacent structure. Crews, operating alongside the Park Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, utilized a stokes basket and tower ladder to safely remove the patient from the roof.
The patient was transferred to Tri-Boro Volunteer Ambulance Corps and advanced life support personnel for transport to an awaiting medical helicopter. Assistance from the Woodcliff Lake Fire Department in establishing and managing the landing zone supported the efficient completion of the operation.
