On August 5, at around 9:15 a.m., Mifflintown Hose Company No. 1 responded to a reported skid loader fire on Sunset Road in Fayette Township.

The fire was swiftly put out when Engine 4 arrived and used a handline. While the remaining personnel were made available, Rescue 2 helped with a limited overhaul operation.

Ambulance 45 arrived as well. Before they arrived, Engine 2, Tanker 2, Brush 1, and UTV 6 were canceled.

The incident was ordered by Chief 4.
