Harwick, PA. — August 5 — When a rollover incident occurred on State Route 28 northbound close to the Pittsburgh Mills exit, Allegheny Valley Volunteer Fire Company's 315 Rescue arrived as mutual assistance. Although the crash was discovered in Springdale Township, the call was sent to Frazer Township. Before firefighters arrived, the driver had self-extricated from the vehicle, which was on its top. There were no serious injuries recorded.

Additionally, units from the 160 Engine, 159 Engine, 134 Engine, and 175 Rescue Engine responded. After a few minutes, Pennsylvania State Police let the firefighters go. The reaction also reaffirmed that in inclement weather, cars should slow down and yield to emergency personnel.
