At around three in the morning on August 9, the North Mountain Fire Company went on mutual assistance to a car accident on Route 487 close to the summit of Red Rock Mountain.

When Captain 260 arrived, he discovered a car off the road with its roof overturned. The driver received only minor injuries after getting out of the car.

North Mountain teams helped with the incident and stayed on the site for almost two hours. Additionally, McHenry Towing, Pennsylvania State Police from Shickshinny, and Fairmount Township Fire and EMS provided assistance.
