On July 3rd, the Professional Firefighters of Keene IAFF Local 3265 were dispatched to a serious two-car motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

Rescue 1 and Engine 1 worked quickly to stabilize one of the vehicles using strut systems and a grip hoist, ensuring it would not shift during the rescue. Ladder 2 and Ambulance 3 then moved in, skillfully extricating two patients who were pinned inside.

Vehicle extrications are among the most challenging calls firefighters face, requiring precision, specialized tools, and clear communication under pressure. Through coordinated teamwork, crews brought the incident to a safe resolution.
