Pen Hills, PA - Penn Hills No. 7 VFC, along with neighboring emergency agencies, responded to Thompson Run Road near Poplar Street for a single-vehicle crash involving a utility pole. Crews arrived to find a vehicle on its side after striking the pole.

The driver had self-extricated before emergency personnel arrived and was evaluated by EMS. The driver was subsequently transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
