New Windsor and Vails Gate FD attended the National Night Out at Kristy Babcock Park on Mount Airy Road on August First.

Both Companies had a Engine with the compartments open and tables with information about Fires-Safe ways Out and having 

a plan in case of fire. Small Plastic fire helmets were given to all the children that stopped by. Many entered the Fire Engines and sat 

on the rear seats. Firefighters were on hand to help answer questions anyone had and assisted the child climbing into the fire engines. 

Also both Companies are in need of Volunteers. Stop by their Firehouses for information to how to become a volunteer member.
