Rochester NY Firefighters responded Thursday Night , 7-31-25 to Lyell Ave. at Dewey Ave. for smoke coming from the building.
Engine 5 arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the building. The building became fully involved and started to collapse.
Command requested a 5th alarm with a collapse zone to be had around the building. This was an exterior attack fire. There were no injuries.
