Brooksville, FL - The Hernando County Fire Rescue, alongside the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, responded to a reported aircraft crash near the 14000 block of Citrus Way in Brooksville.

Upon arrival, crews determined the incident involved an unmanned aerial vehicle rather than a manned aircraft. Fire department drone operators were utilized to locate the wreckage, which was found on industrial property.

The UAV sustained a small fire following the crash; however, the fire did not extend beyond the immediate area. No injuries were reported, and crews ensured the scene was secured.
