Brooksville, FL - The Hernando County Fire Rescue responded alongside the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the United States Coast Guard to a reported marine accident off the coast of Hernando Beach.

Marine 6 arrived to find a two-boat collision, with one individual injured after being struck during the incident. Crews provided immediate patient care on the water before transporting the individual to the Aripeka Boat Ramp for further evaluation.

The patient declined transport to the hospital, and no additional injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation by the appropriate agencies.
