At about 1845 hours on July 28, 2025, Gloucester Twp fire companies were dispatched after a neighbor on Downs Avenue reported a fire to the rear of their home. Gloucester Twp units arrived and amended the address to 76 Kelly Driver Lane and reported a commercial sized garage to be heavily involved in fire. The garage sat to the rear of the property and access was limited for FD apparatus. The main residence on the property and another garage were immediately threatened by the fire. First arriving units stretched handlines to attack the fire from the Division A side and to protect the exposures. Runnemede Quint 7 positioned toward the C-D corner to attack the fire from an elevated position and to protect the main residence. The fire was brought under control in about 35 minutes. Units from Runnemede, Somerdale, Bellmawr, Deptford, Magnolia, and Pennsauken Fire Departments were among some of the units that assisted the Gloucester Twp units of Chews Landing, Blackwood, and Erial.
