Minutes after returning to the stations following a vehicle accident, 1:17 pm the Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for a grass fire on the side of the road on 422 westbound before the Sanatoga off-ramp. Station 58 initially responded as it was reported to be in their first due. Chief 58 reported the fire to be in Limerick Township, so Field 51-2, Squad 51, Command 51, and Fire Police responded. The fire was extinguished and all trucks were made available.
