Vegetation Fire in Brea Burns One Acre

Brea, CA - At 3:53 A.M. July 28th, units from Brea, Fullerton and LA County Fire Departments were dispatched to a reported fire on the 1400 block of Pioneer Street in the city of Brea. Three large palm trees and approximately one acre of vegetation were on fire, which was believed to have been started by someone in a homeless encampment. A large header of smoke was visible for miles. A knock down was declared in approximately 30 minutes with no reported injuries.
