Residents forced from apartments in Penn Hills

July 2, 2020 – Penn Hills, Allegheny County – At 1:31am, firefighters were dispatched to the Penn Pleasant Drive for a reported house fire. Units arrived to find a working fire in a multi-unit apartment building. Crews quickly assisted residents out of the building while other crews began to attack the fire which was found in a lower level apartment. The fire was quickly knocked down and was placed under control at 2:08am. No one was injured and the American Red Cross is assisting those displaced.
