Shortly after 1 a.m. on July 28th Berks County 911 dispatched unit to RT-724 near Interstate 176 in Cumru Township for the report of an overturned tractor trailer. The cleanup is expected to continue through the morning with RT-724 remaining closed. Crews worked to contain a leak of hot tar. The road was shut down for a portion of the day.
