Nashua firefighters arrived at this large 2 1/2 woodframe with fire showing in the early morning on 7/21/26. The Deputy Chief arrived on scene and transmitted a 2nd alarm bringing all Nashua apparatus to the scene. Companies made an aggressive interior attack and removed 1 victim from the building in the first few minutes after arrival. Due to the deteriorating fire conditions, companies went to a defensive operation for a short period of time. After the heavy volume of fire in the attic was knocked down, companies re-entered and knocked down the rest of the fire. Companies remained on scene throughout the day for hot spots and assisting the fire investigators. This fire would end up being a double fatality.
