On June 30, reports of an explosion and fire at a nearby scrap metal yard prompted the Holbrook Fire Department to react.
When firefighters arrived, they discovered an active fire and rapidly contained it by deploying master streams. In around half an hour, the fire was contained by the crews, securing the area and preventing further spread.
