At approximately 0430 hours on July 22, 2025, the West Deptford Fire Department was dispatched to 10th Street for an investigation. In the course of their investigation, the company saw a “glow” coming from a few blocks away. West Deptford Squad Company 6 redirected to where the glow was originating from and rolled in to a fully involved two story single family dwelling at 303 7th Street. The box was transmitted for the dwelling fire and brought in more troops. On arrival, WDFD Squad 6 utilized its deck gun and several handlines to get a good knock on the fire. Westville’s ladder company raised its aerial to get an elevated hit on the fire. The fire was placed under control in about one hour.
