WARSAW - OH, Walhonding Valley FD responds to a reported house fire on Cherry St. in Warsaw, OH. Arriving on scene the firefighters found the house to be well involved on the second floor and flames showing through the roof. A call was put out to central dispatch for a 2nd alarm and requested a ladder truck out of the Coshocton FD.
Walhonding Valley firefighters made a quick knockdown of the flames. Second alarm units arrived on the scene and got busy hitting the hot spots. Coshocton’s ladder was setup and worked on the hot spots on the roof and vented the roof on the “A” side of the house. The damage on the second floor was quite extensive and required a lot of overhaul.
Assisting on scene was Coshocton FD, Three Rivers FD, and Jackson Twp. FD. Also assisting was the Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton County SO, and the Salvation Army Disaster Services.
