Lancaster Firefighters Quickly Controlled Tractor Fire

Lancaster, N.H. — July 12 — First-arriving firemen from the Lancaster Fire Department swiftly contained a reported tractor fire on Main Street. After deploying hose lines to put out the fire, crews finished overhaul operations to make sure that no hot spots remained. The fire was controlled before it spread to other buildings or automobiles, and no casualties were reported.


Fuel, hydraulic fluids, and other combustible materials can cause equipment fires, necessitating a prompt and well-coordinated response.
