Hampton Fire-Rescue Responds to Bus Fire on I-95

On June 28, just north of the Towle Farm Road bridge on Interstate 95, Hampton Fire-Rescue responded to a motor coach bus fire.
Before firefighters arrived, every passenger safely got off the bus, and no injuries were recorded. While traffic delays occurred in the area, emergency personnel tried to put out the fire. As Hampton units continued to be dedicated to the event, a Box 7 assignment was sent to provide station coverage.
