On July 16th, Suffolk County Fire Rescue and EMS hosted a Train Vs. Car MCI demonstration at their open house. The drill consisted of multiple victims in the train car, which EMS had a triage area set up for, and a victim trapped in the vehicle who was extricated by firefighters. The Brookhaven and Mastic Fire Departments, along with South Country Ambulance Co., Community Ambulance of Sayville, Flanders Hampton Vol. Ambulance and the MTA Fire Marshal were in attendance.
