Escambia, FL - The Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to a multi-residential structure fire on North Crow Road, with multiple units arriving to find light smoke showing from a single-story quadplex.

An occupant had already used a fire extinguisher to slow the fire’s spread prior to arrival. Firefighters completed suppression operations, checked for extension into walls and attic spaces, and conducted overhaul and ventilation to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.

One individual sustained a minor burn injury and was treated on scene by EMS. The fire was determined to have been caused by unattended cooking, and although repairs were required, the residence remained habitable.
