BAYPORT, NY - On Friday, July 18th, the Bayport Fire Department hosted a wet down ceremony for two new pieces of equipment. The new rigs are Brush 3-14-7, a 1990 2.5 ton Army 6x6/2024 Firematic B.R.A.T, and Ladder 13, a 2023 Pierce Impel 100’ Rear-mount Aerial. The East Islip Fire Department, Bohemia Fire Department, Blue Point Fire Department, and Patchogue Fire Department attended the event.
