Air Medical Response Coordinated for Serious Fall Incident in East Hawley

Hawley, MA - The Hawley Volunteer Fire Department responded to a medical emergency in East Hawley involving an individual who had fallen from a roof. Due to the severity of the injuries, an air medical helicopter was requested to expedite advanced care and transport.


Mutual aid from Ashfield Fire Department assisted in establishing a secure landing zone in a nearby field, supporting safe helicopter operations. Crews worked in coordination with Highland Ambulance, Shelburne Police Department, and Life Star, whose prompt and professional response contributed to the effective management of the incident.
