Pleasant Hills, PA. — June 24 — A reported house fire in West Mifflin prompted the Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Company, located at 72 Clairton Blvd., to provide mutual aid. Alongside Truck 296, Engine 232 came as the first engine company, responding with three firefighters. The team was assigned for the duration of the crisis and started suppression operations right away.
In order to limit the fire, safeguard adjacent exposures, and finish the overhaul before going back into operation, firefighters collaborated with other departments. In order to ensure a successful response to residential fire crises, the response emphasized the significance of quick mutual aid, coordinated engine company operations, and solid regional collaborations.
