Western Berks Assists at Vehicle Fire in Spring Township

On June 18, a car fire in the 700 block of Fritztown Road prompted the Western Berks Fire Department to provide mutual help.
When Engine 18-2 arrived and discovered fire originating from the vehicle's engine compartment, it helped the Township of Spring Fire Rescue Services. In order to stop additional damage, firefighters swiftly extended a bumper line and put out the fire.
After the incident was contained and no injuries were recorded, the crews resumed their duties.
